Formed in 2007 by Deryck Roche to bring back a more diverse selection of R&B, soul, old school, Motown, reggae and pop music vibes into the Toronto music scene. Originally a 3-piece band playing at one venue called Dazzling Lounge, Chic’n Waffles built a clientele base that unlocked access to many more venues across the GTA. They then expanded the group to a 5-piece band and gained even more popularity with many different cultural communities and quickly started doing weddings, corporate, and comedy events in larger venues. 

Their two mottos are “We are always ready to entertain” and “We Love What We Do Because Music Is Our Business”
